Some more work..... in progress! :D

HI! so here its is, some textile designs I made with the African theme I mentioned in the earlier post "work in progress" and now have tried to add some Australian aboriginal art as well (the dots and circles are a hallmark of  Australian aboriginal style)... I am definitely going to make something more "textilish" out of it

Some new sketches that i have been doing. Naturally inclined towards pop art but looking for some African colors... hmmm where should this go from here????

Here are some versions of the above design... they are printable textile repeats... next time i'll add something else to it... bring in another element, but for now enjoy this!

city of scavengers.......

An interior I recently did as a part of my Masters thesis project......... The theme is consumerism, inspired by none other than Warhol and the visual imagery is inspired by urban growth and competition.

more to come soon

Light Gestures

At the start, printing was something that I considered out of question for ZBR, it was too direct and not 'personal' enough for me..... But with a slow and steady understanding of visual creativity, blended with a love for Warhol, a printed collection started to emerge. This collection uses photographs captured by my own humble camera and then developed into designs that go with every mood and every outfit. :D

my other identity.........

People who have been following me before i showed up on blogger know me through the below mentioned link..... my first ever page on Facebook that has all the work I have done in the past...........

Doodles!!!

A look at another collection, with no weaving in it at all...... This is a progression for ZBR in a sense that this collection, when launched, broke the weaving stereotype and explored the realms of embroidery...... The patterns in this collection are inspired by my own drawing style which involves out of control lines and a lot of contrasts in tone.
