It sounds weird, but even as a child I often tried to create a hand loom by using two pencils and some threads in a process which even I can't describe now.... So needless to say, ever since I used the Khaddi (hand loom) for the first time, I fell in love with it! Hand woven fabric to me is the most pure and personal form of textile designing and nothing can beat a bag, cushion or outfit made of some sort of a hand woven fabric. Through out the blog you are sure to see a lot of things made of hand woven textiles and this is just to give a head start.....
